Value-added Scores Posted

From the Tennessee Department of Education, Department of Assessment Logistics

Value-added scores for teachers and administrators will be entered into the TEAM data system (My Learning Plan) and will be available in that system by 12 a.m. CDT, June 15th. If you teach in a tested subject area, your growth measure score will be an individual teacher-effect score. If you teach in a non-tested subject area or grade, or if you are an administrator, your growth measure score will be a school-wide composite value added score.

Teachers in districts using alternative models including TIGER, TEM, or COACH may experience a delay in their scores appearing in the TEAM Data System. The districts using one of these models are Hamilton County, Memphis, Lebanon, Milan, Lexington City, Paris, Alcoa, Maryville, Trenton, Greeneville, Bradford, Trousdale County and Alamo.

Some teachers will require a manual entry for their scores. Any educator for whom manual entry was selected, for whom individual composite was selected with insufficient student count to calculate teacher-effect, or with an incorrect license number in the TEAM data system will not have scores in the data system on June 15th. Districts are required to have the data entered in the system by July 1st.

For any specific questions on which teachers will not yet have scores or how to enter scores for those teachers, please contact your evaluator or district administrators. To access your scores, please use the guide posted on the TEAM website, http://team-tn.org/assets/educator-resources/Teacher_Access_Guide.pdf.

As you all know, the department committed to returning value-added scores on June 15th and giving educators access to the information as soon as possible through the TEAM data system.  In addition to the data released on June 15th, the TVAAS restricted website (https://tvaas.sas.com/) will be updated with teacher, school, and district effect scores on June 29th. The TVAAS restricted website will also provide educators with additional details on the growth measure portion of their evaluation composite scores.

If you have general questions on your growth measure score, we encourage you to contact your district staff for guidance. If you have specific questions, more data and detail will be available via the TVAAS restricted website on June 29th.

Woah! I’m really digging the template/theme of this site. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s very hard to get that “perfect balance” between superb usability and appearance. I must say that you’ve done a awesome job with this. Additionally, the blog loads extremely fast for me on Firefox. Superb Blog!
